As a tennis player from a very young age it encouraged me to further my role in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer. Playing sport at a semi professional level I learned a lot about my body or should I say my structural balance from a lot of trial and error. This only motivated me to learn more and pass that knowledge onto my clients hoping to improve their health and lifestyle.

Over the years understanding the benefits in staying healthy has made me more passionate than ever. The benefits are endless from increasing bone density, flexibility, metabolism are just some to mention. My commitment to my clients is to assure them they are motivated, encouraged, educated and that they are enjoying what they are doing no matter what level they are, which in turn will reflect a healthy positive lifestyle.

Hi there, I’ve been a fitness professional for just over 10 years. Throughout that time I’ve developed a wealth of knowledge and experience in many different environments within the fitness industry. Starting out in the commercial and franchise gyms doing one on one personal training and small groups in the early days gave me some good tools to further my career.

After a brief stint off the gym floor and into managing a small team of trainers I decided it was time to get back into what I love doing but in a different environment. Lots of PD and refining my skills followed by defining what type of trainer I am and the type of clientele I wanted to pursue lead me to Move Health and Fitness. Mainly working 1:1 and 2:1 with clients is where I do my best work.

I lead a healthy and balanced lifestyle and practice what I preach. I consider myself a functional trainer with a heavy focus on the needs analysis of any one client. The areas in which I excel in are:

Richard Lombardi

From my early primary school years I played soccer right up until my late teens and became a semi pro for a year. My soccer experience really made a significant impact on the way I saw the human body and its movements. Also playing soccer for a long period of time also made me understand the importance of nutrition for gaining the most performance from your body.

As soccer became serious weight training developed along with it so that became part of my lifestyle and it still continues to be a cornerstone of my life.

In 2009/10 I became a fully qualified personal trainer at the Central Institute of Technology (TAFE). Although I’m fairly new to the fitness industry I have a vast experience in training clients from weight loss to strength and conditioning.

I believe that exercise and proper diet is crucial in everyone’s lifestyle whether they be an athlete or an accountant. Through understanding a person’s goals and aims I can help them achieve those goals through a structured exercise and diet strategy.
